Professional Background & Credentials
Beverly is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBHWC) and an ACE Certified Professional. Her deep expertise in the body-mind connection is supported by specialized certifications as a Polyvagal Theory Coach and a Dance Alive Somatic Coach.
Her unique background in luxury wellness operations allows her to understand the specific pressures of “white-glove” service environments, where the internal state of the leader directly dictates the quality of the guest and team experience.
Teaching & Facilitation
Over two decades, Beverly has led hundreds of workshops and trainings focused on resilience and presence. Her experience includes:
- Burke Williams Day Spa: Led staff development on “Regulation Under Pressure” and “The Art of Attuned Service,” training caregiving teams to prevent burnout in high-demand environments.
- My Yoga – New Zealand: Instructed somatic-based movement grounded in the Dance Alive method, focusing on tension release and fluid regulation.
- PaganoBliss Private Practice: Facilitates group coaching for women on reconnecting with inner trust and reducing anxiety through nervous system awareness.
- Community Leadership: Facilitates faith-based wellness and restoration workshops focused on physical and emotional well-being.
Case Study: Regulation in Crisis
Beverly famously demonstrated “regulation in motion” during an emergency evacuation of 200 guests and staff at a major Santa Monica spa. By consciously grounding her own nervous system, she provided a point of co-regulation for her managers. This prevented collective panic and allowed a vulnerable group to move from sympathetic activation (fight-or-flight) back into a structured, parasympathetic balance, ensuring safety and a seamless return to operations.
The Glial Perspective: From Theory to Motion
Beverly’s approach to the “Glial cell” role is centered on stabilizing the relational environment. By tracking tone, pace, and energy, she helps clients orient back to clarity, allowing the “signals” of effective leadership to move cleanly and coherently through an organization without the friction of dysregulation.
